We are now preparing a new product category page for “yukatas.”
Do you know what “yukatas” are?
Yukatas are “casual kimonos” and many Japanese people wear them during the summer time, especially at summer events like fireworks shows or summer festivals.
Yukatas were originally designed to make the wearers feel “cooler” in the summer heat, and also make the people around feel cooler just by looking at the design.
The structure of yukatas is very simple, but still, it is difficult to explain how you should wear a yukata properly.
Actually, many Japanese people are not familiar with how to wear yukatas because we only wear them a few times or less in a year.
But yukatas are much simpler than kimonos.
In order to wear a kimono by yourself, you should probably take a lesson how to wear one.
Hopefully, the new page for “yukatas” at this site will be ready in a week or so.
