By the way, many parks in Japan have “hoop barriers” to prevent cars from getting in, and some of them have animal figures on them.
I found sparrow-figured hoop barriers at the entrance of a park the other day!
It is said that the figures on top of the hoop barriers are intended to prevent children from playing or sitting on them because it is not safe.
I personally like the metallic sparrow figures very much, but I know there are people who are not so interested in this kind of things, for example, my husband.
On the other hand, there are some nice and kind people who made knitted outfits for the sparrow figures to keep them warm!
