But I suppose many of you may not be familiar with international purchases.
How much do customers have to pay in total?
When you buy things from a foreign website, the amount you should pay will be the sum of “product price,” “shipping fee,” and “custom duties or VAT.”
You can pay for the product and the shipping fee by “PayPal” at the time you make a purchase at this website, but “custom duties” or “VAT (or “Valid Added Tax” in Europe)” should be paid at the time you receive the product.
If I were you, I would be afraid to go on to “purchase” because I would have no idea how much the “custom duties/VAT” would be.
Some of the products are not subject to custom duties or VAT, and you will not have to pay any, but there are some items for which you have to pay the tax.
To tell the truth, we cannot actually know how much they will be, because the products on this site can be sold to more than 120 countries or regions. The amount of tax will differ depending on countries and regions, so it is very difficult for us to list the tax amount for each country or region.
We will refund the tax you paid!
So here is what we can do!
Until September 1, 2021, we will “refund” all the custom duties or VAT to all the buyers who have purchased our products.
By doing so, we will gradually learn how much the custom duties or VAT will be, and then we can announce you beforehand about the approximate amount you will have to pay for custom duties or VAT when you receive the product.
Those who wish a tax refund should send us the proof of payment for the custom duties or VAT, like receipts, within 7 days after receiving the product.
This is a kind of experimental service, and we are not sure whether we will continue this refund service after Sept. 1.
But we do hope that this trial will make everyone happy!
