Japanese Kitchen (4): Nabe (Hot & Delicious Pot?)

In my previous article, I wrote that spring had started according to Japanese lunar calendar, but actually, we still have very cold days.

The tulips we planted last December in our flower bed have just sprouted, and the actual spring season has yet to come.

On cold days like this, we often have the same, regular menu called “nabe.”
