My husband and I have made several trips only to buy Shine-muscat grapes all the way to Yamanashi Prefecture, where there are a lot of grape farms.
We have been crazy about them ever since we first ate them.
The best thing about them is that they are seedless and we can eat them as they are, even their skin.
The skin is tensely stretched and gives you a crunchy, pop sound when you make the first bite of it.
They are delicious with rich flavor, and absolutely amazing!!!
The price of a bunch varies all the way from 1000 to 3000 Japanese yen, or between 200 and 600 Japanese yen per 100 grams.
Shine-muscat grapes are available at almost every grocery store, but in general, it’s said that they are a little expensive and a kind of luxury fruit.
They can also be a very nice thank-you gift for your friends or family!
You should definitely eat them when you come to Japan!
I’m sure you will love them!!
