What are “Kimonos”?

Kimonos are national outfit in Japan. All Japanese people wore “Kimonos” until about 150 years ago. Nowadays “Kimonos” are worn at formal events, such as wedding parties, tea ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, etc. Also, many Japanese girls wear a kimono at their coming-of-age ceremonies when they turn twenty.
